Founded in the 7th century, the abbey is located near the confluence of the Lys and the Scheldt. Hence, it was originally called Ganda, from the Celtic word meaning confluence or mouth.

In order to provide a visually strong and detailed map of the file, a total 3D model was provided, starting from different measurement techniques.
