Frequently Asked Questions

When can you come and measure and when will I get my drawing materials?

Upon approval of our quote, we can schedule the measurement within 5 business days.
To process the data and draw your building, please allow up to 10 working days after measurement.

How long does the measurement take and does someone need to be present?

Thanks to our exclusive mobile laser scanner, we can perform the measurement in a few hours.
No one needs to be present during the measurement. It is important, however, that all areas of the building are accessible. Otherwise, we will have to take additional measurements at a later date for an additional cost.

Can I get just a point cloud?

We are experts in correctly linking, cleaning and preparing point clouds for a CAD environment. If you are going to work with the point cloud yourself, we would like to see which CAD environment you are working in and exactly what you need the point cloud for. Then we provide you with a point cloud tailored to your needs.

How are my drawing materials delivered?

We work with our own template, created by standard and delivered in following formats and versions:
2D CAD:
AutoCAD, version 2023, .dwg files
Vectorworks, version 2022, .vwx files
3D CAD:
Revit, version 2022, .rvt files
Archicad, version AC25, .pla and .pln files
Vectorworks, version 2022, .vwx files
If you have your own template or are looking for other formats and versions, please mention this in your quotation request.

Based on the measurement, can I order additional drawing work at a later date?

Definitely! Our scan data allows additional drawing work to be provided at later times based on your needs. Additional drawing work is done in direction.

What is the difference between ordinary and georeferenced surveying?

Our measurements are taken by default in a local system, with which you receive all the metrically correct drawing data.
Some construction projects require additional surveying information. We offer this as an option and includes: the delivery of your drawing work in the Belgian coordinate system Lambert-72 and the placement of the various elevation levels is done TAW compliant.
