During the renovation of the station square in Merelbeke, an underground shelter of the second world war was discovered. Older locals knew of its existance, but didn't know its location untill the square was uncoverd for construction work. To not interrupt the constructions timing, the shelter was made available to the public for one afternoon. This brought us the results found below.
